Farm Blog: Good morning folks. Hope everyone managed some relaxation and good family time over Thanksgiving. It has been a nice change of pace here at Kiwi Roots over the past couple of weeks, with lot’s of clean up from the season and resetting for the next oh and maybe a little sleep in haha.. It is always exiting to start laying out the plans for the next growing season, which will be here before we know it.
I also wanted to give an update on Online Sales. As mentioned in previous blogs, we needed a couple of weeks after our last Farm Stand to see if our final plantings were going to make it but unfortunately they have not bulked up enough to make Online Sales worth it. My apologies for getting everyone’s hopes up, but because of such great support right to the end you actually left us in a really good spot where we had very little veggies left over. Also, the cooler than (last few seasons) November messed with my crop timing and that’s the way the Mother Nature rolls!
Finally, and we can’t say it enough, from our family to yours, we say thank you to everyone that has supported us through our 4th season! What a ride it has been. We are just so grateful. We are excited to see you all back at the Stand (or in the wild) for the 2026 growing season.
